The 20 year old Brazilian international is already establishing himself as one of the best defenders in world football right now. At such a young age he has the world at his feet. It is believed the united have now re ignited their interest in the 20 year old centre back but not as their primary target, but as their secondary option if the move for the Borussia Dortmund captain matts Hummels falls through. Marquinhos has come out with a statement insuring the Parsians that he does not intend to leave the french Champions and is thriving on the challenge and building process that the tam has taken up ever since they were taken over by the Qatari billionaire owners and our now proving to be a real power on the european stage.
Should Hummels move fall through and united have to go in for Marquinhos they will have to pay over the odds for his tremendous potential and being a great prospect.
