Manchester United have made an enquiry over the availability of the PSV forward Memphis Depay.
Depay is the Eredivisie’s leading goalscorer and scored in the 4-1 win over Heerenveen. Liverpool and Tottenham have been linked with the 21-year-old, but PSV technical director Marcel Brands has revealed United have made an initial approach.
Brands on Dutch television said "We have had a telephone call from them about him". "But no official talks have been made yet".
He also said that Deepay who managed to score 20 league goals will cost more than
14.5 million euros and "It will be much higher than the offer from Tottenham Hotspur". "He will be very expensive."

Gareth Bale would bring Manchester United title success, says Martin Samuel
Martin
Samuel told the Sunday Supplement that Manchester United will win the Premier
League title next season if they sign Gareth Bale.
United
have enjoyed a minor resurgence after a slow start under now boss Louis van
Gaal, and they are on the verge of securing a return to the Champions
League.
Defeat at
Chelsea on Saturday Night Football all but ended their faint hopes of
completing an astonishing turnaround and snatching their 21st top-flight crown.
There is no doubt that adding Gareth Bale (Real
Madrid’s Welsh winger) to their team will take them to title glory next
season, according to the Daily Mail's chief sports writer.

Jose Mourinho adds Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke to his summer hit-list as Chelsea boss plans for next season
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is planning a summer swoop for Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke. The club's technical director Michael Emenalo travelled to Spain on Saturday to watch the 23-year-old during Atletico's 2-1 victory against Deportivo, according to Spanish newspaper AS.
The highly-rated Spaniard signed a long-term deal with Diego Simeone's side only last year, but Mourinho is reportedly planning to offer second-choice left-back Filipe Luis to his former club as a makeweight for the deal.
Luis has struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge this season after failing to displace Spanish defender Cesar Azpilicueta from the left-back spot. AS also report that Koke'srelease clause is around £50million which Chelsea could be willing to shell out as Mourinho looks to add to a midfield that has looked tired at times this season.
Koke, an Atletico academy graduate, was instrumental as the club reached the final of the Champions League before losing to local rivals Real Madrid last season and has.

Radamel Falcao to Liverpool?
Another day, another round of stories about Mario Balotelli leaving Liverpool .Brendan Rodgers has had enough of the Italian's sluggish play and lack of movement up front. He wants Radamel Falcao there instead. Erm.
Chelsea want to turn themselves into Atlético Madrid and will continue that transformation by signing Diego Godín .
José Mourinho has also been very impressed with Enner Valencia ’s astonishing haul of five goals for West Ham this season, so much so that he wants to buy him and sell Oscar to Juventus . Valencia will start six league games for Chelsea, scoring the fourth goal in a 4-1 win over Aston Villa in September, and will be loaned to Besiktas in January.
So Valencia might want to think twice about leaving West Ham , not least because they have identified their next manager: Swansea's Garry Monk .
You thought it was going to be Jürgen Klopp, didn't you? Well it's not going to beJürgen Klopp . He might be going to Manchester City , although they're umming and aahing about whether they should hire him, not that it really matters given that the German is probably just going to end up at Real Madrid anyway.
Ilkay Gundogan could also be on his way out of Borussia Dortmund. City like the cut of his jib.
Manchester United also like the cut of Gundogan's jib, but they have other priorities, namely Burnley's Danny Ings and Southampton's Nathaniel Clyne , theirs for £17m. Southampton will make themselves feel better about losing Clyne by signing Matt Phillips from Queens Park Rangers.
Arsenal have been told that they will have to give James Milner , 29, a four-year deal if they want to sign him, so that should be the last we hear of that rumour.

Manchester Dealing A Big Blow
According to the Metro, the Reds are lining up a £105m spending
spree come the summer. And, along with Mats Hummels and Memphis Depay, Raheem
Sterling could be on his way to Old Trafford in what would be a shock move.
William Carvalho's name also looks set to pop up again regularly
in the coming months, with reports in Portugal still linking United with a
swoop. The midfielder was an alleged target for David Moyes and now A Bola say
his successor Louis van Gaal is just as keen on a transfer. Bild believe
another central midfielder is on the agenda, however.
The German newspaper say United have blown the competition
out of the water to clinch Sami Khedira on a €270,000-per-week deal.
If all this rumour Manchester United Have
definitely give a deathly blow to Liverpool, and Manchester United will grow
even further.
